Watch out Smurfs

 

Have you stopped laughing yet? It’s OK, I’ll give you a few more seconds.

How about now? Are you good? OK, then I’ll let you in on a little secret. This is apparently a smurfin outfit. No, not surfin – smurfin. Like the little blue guys who are making a comeback thanks to a movie and McDonalds toys. That’s how my kids know about them. And apparently Zander knows quite a bit. You see, if you are going smurfin you have to have your shirt off and your shoes on. The center-clipped phone also plays a key role as do the safety glasses and red board. And that down there, that’s the official smurfin pose. It’s kind of cute, right?

Unless you’re 13. Then it’s just kind of weird. But, thankfully Jamie is cool enough (and confident enough) to go smurfin with her adorable little nephew. Zander decided he would bend the rules a little and let her keep her shirt on and go barefoot.

And this is him trying to do a trick. I had to include it too because it’s just so darn cute. He had his toes hooked under the board and was trying to flip it and then land on it. It worked once.
