Ben wasn’t feeling the best yesterday and all the kids at Robin’s had been puking all night so I kept Ben and Zander home for the day to try and keep them from getting whatever was going around (it appears to have worked). While Nick was at school Zander and I made the infamous cookie dough that has popped up at least twice a year probably since this blog was created. We were going to make the cookies last night but life got in the way so we decided to get it out and bake and decorate them today. The only new thing about this year was that the boys actually stuck around and helped me decorate every last cookie instead of giving up about halfway through so they could eat one of their creations. It was kind of nice to have the extra help.
