Sometimes it’s nice to have pictures of my kids just being kids instead of doing some specific task or craft or event (all of which are getting fewer and farther between). Mike was gone this week and we spent a lot of time just hanging out. The safest place for Ben (though he loves scooting around the floor) is still his swing. I worry though that his days in there are numbered. I have to crank that baby up pretty high just to get a little swing going. It seems like only a few days ago I had to hang a blanket off the end to keep it from going too fast on the slowest setting. He does like the swing, he had either just woken up or was just about to fall asleep here.
Nick was hanging out in his “office.” He is way too big to be sitting at that little table (you can see his knees are on the ground when he sits on the chair), but he loves having a place to do his work.
And Zander was finding his own version of fun in the computer room. He was stacking finger paints on top of the extra diapers here. This little boy, when not being bothered by others, can find fun just about anywhere.
